Movement Evaluation Laboratory

Movement Evaluation Laboratory

The Movement Evaluation Laboratory will be embedded within a clinical area of the hospital (9th floor). It will include systems used to conduct motion (motion tracking), kinetic (forceplates) and spatiotemporal (pressure mat) analyses. Detailed measurements will be made of the nervous system (electroencephalography, peripheral stimulation), musculoskeletal system (electromyography, isokinetic dynamometer), and cardiorespiratory system (metabolic cart, electrocardiography, blood pressure). Training equipment (treadmill with body-weight support, and specialized ergometers) will be used for ongoing trials.
